Tri Championship - Salty Dog 2009

August 8, 2009 1:33 pm

Today was the 8th annual salty dog triathlon in Hutchinson, KS. 3 years ago I decided that if I couldn't beat Lacy at road races, then I could try at something more advanced.

History

Triathlons were the natural choice. However I was late to the game that year and had to settle on a team effort. With only a few weeks, and no real "base" Lacy, Randy (my father-in-law) and I formed the Hammerheads.

Any way, the next year Lacy and I did the Mudwater (I beat Lacy) and the Salty Dog. The Salty Dog is a fun little sprint triathlon that we both enjoyed, and I beat her at. That little bit made it more fun for me.

Last year we missed registration and it was canceled due to weather.

Results

This year we made it a Championship for Household title of "Fastest Triathlete"
